Hey everyone!  I’m bringing you a (quick) blog update today.  I took perhaps my longest break ever between posts these past couple of weeks, but it’s been anything but quiet on the MMM front!  In fact, I’ve been incredibly busy working on a couple of different projects.

I wanted to give you a sneak peak into some of the things that are coming down the pipe!

MY FIRST EVER PRODUCT LAUNCH (and it’s FREE!)

blog updateOver the past two weeks, I’ve been working feverishly to create my first ever blog product!

I’ve created a 5-day email money course, titled, Five Money Hacks That Will Save You $1000 This Year. (It’s actually more of a guide than a course.) I’m making it available as a freebie for new email subscribers.

These are 5 legit money hacks anyone can pull off in order to save over $1000.  Each one reads as a separate post, and will be sent to new subscribers via email over 5 consecutive days.

I had so much fun putting these together.  The first one is called “The Cheerios Conundrum”.  If you ask me, it’s worth subscribing just to find out what that’s all about. : )

Seriously though, if you’re looking for some creative ways to save $$$, all you need to do is subscribe!  I’ll be launching this early next week, so look for the signup form on my homepage within a few days!

MYSTERY MONEY INSIDER

blog updateI’m putting the finishing touches on Issue # 2 of the MM Insider, which is my EXCLUSIVE monthly newsletter that goes out to my email subscribers.  If you’ve been a regular reader the past few months, chances are you’re aware of the following:

  • I’m on a journey to escape the 9-5 within 18 months.
  • I’m doing this by converting side hustles into full time online business.
  • when I finally leave the 9-5, I will reveal my identity.  (anonymous no more!)

The best part, I’m detailing my entire journey in my newsletter!  If escaping the 9-5 is a dream you share, you can find out exactly how I’m doing it, month by month, in real time.

You’ll learn what’s working, what’s not, and follow along as I progress. Trust me, it’s not something you want to miss.

All you need to do is become an email subscriber.  There’s no catch, no gimmick.  Also, no spam ever, and you can unsubscribe at anytime!

Issue # 2 will be out on Monday, March 12th, sign up before it’s too late. : )

SOCIAL MEDIA

blog updateI’ve decided recently to spend a lot more time building Mystery Money Man on Facebook.  Since starting this blog in 2016,  my social media focus has been Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest  to a degree.  I find that Twitter is a great place to connect with fellow bloggers, while Pinterest has become the #1 driver of traffic to my blog, of any social media channel.

I really believe Facebook presents a greater opportunity to connect with people on a deeper level, and allow me to add value on all things money related.

Part of my Facebook strategy will involve experimenting with Facebook ads.  I’ll be sharing more details on that, as well as the results from these experiments, on my newsletter!

There is so much more on the go, it really has been a crazy few weeks.  I’ve been working closely with my business mentor, refining my strategies for growth of not only the blog, but my digital marketing side hustle as well.  I’ll be sure to share more details in upcoming posts.

Cheers,

-MMM

  1. I wish I had the guts to do what you’re doing. I’d love to ditch my 9-5 and live off my side hustles but I’m not there yet (not even close really). Best of luck – let me know how I can help.

    • Man, I feel like I’m so far from this as well, I’m actually saying ‘no’ to side hustles that I can make money on now, to focus on others that haven’t earned me a dime. It’s kind of like “wax on, wax off”, I think. 🙂 My mentor tells me, “this is going to be a lot harder AND a lot easier than you think”. I would say I’m beginning to realize one half of that equation, but I’m in it for the long haul.

  2. Good stuff MMM. I am signed up for your guide and can’t wait. I feel like dealing with money is a never ending struggle, even if you’ve made progress. I am long out of debt, but I go through periods where all my will and focus go out the window and I need to right the ship. Reminders and suggestions help so much. My bank account is a wreck this week. Splurging on Broadway tix for my mom’s birthday was probably a bad idea! When that happens, it’s like food after the holidays. Damage is done, but you have to move on. So we naturally strive for some austerity. I think it will always be like this for me at least. Progress… progress… a little back sliding… read money saving tips from MMM… progress!

    • Thank you so much BB! Like you, I always appreciate the reminders and suggestions as well. Sure, personal finance isn’t rocket science, but I’m always inspired by the tips and tricks that people come up with. And I wouldn’t worry one bit about those Broadway tix, I’m sure your Mom will enjoy that so much!
